RIYADH – Secretary-General of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) Jassim bin Muhammad Al-Budaiwi condemned in the strongest terms Wednesday the shooting incident in Wadi Al-Kabir area in Musca, Oman, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
“This heinous criminal act contradicts all the principles of our true religion and human and moral values,” said the GCC secretary general, stressing that the GCC countries stand by Oman.
Al-Budaiwi appreciated the efforts of the Omani security forces in dealing with this incident, expressing his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
