French Foreign Minister Stéphane Sejourné said he is set to meet with his Egyptian and Jordanian counterparts Sameh Shoukry and Ayman Safadi respectively in Cairo later in the day to discuss ways to find a political solution to the Middle East crisis.
Sejourné said on “X” platform that they will also work for the release of hostages and coordination of humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip.
Shoukry will hold today talks with the French and Jordanian foreign ministers.
Shoukry will hold bilateral talks with the French foreign minister.
The ministers of Egypt, France and Jordan are set to hold a joint press conference at the end of the tripartite meeting.
