CAIRO – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty on Friday made a phone call with President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.
The minister congratulated Metsola on her reelection as a president of the parliament, extending thanks for her support to Egypt to face different regional conflicts and its economic and security impacts, said Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Ahmed Abo Zeid.
The minister conveyed the invitation of Hanafy Gebaly, Speaker of the House of Representatives, for Metsola to visit Egypt to have further cooperation and coordination on regional and international issues of common interest.
Abdelatty also shed light on Egypt’s achievements on combating illegal immigration and terrorism thanks to good cooperation with the European Parliament.
