CAIRO – Egypt joins the global community in making the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people, observed annually on November 29.
Egypt reiterated, on this occasion, its unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and salutes their resilience in the face of the ongoing violations committed by the Israeli occupation, which are observed by the international community.
Foreign ministry on Friday called in a statement for international efforts to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and support the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Egypt also condemned the ongoing aggression the Palestinian people are facing, reiterating the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid.
