CAIRO – Egypt’s Ambassador in Brussels Badr Abdel Aaty discussed with Chairman of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs David McAllister means of developing Egyptian-European cooperation ties in different domains.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that the meeting probed ways to cement cooperation between Egypt and the European Union in several fields, including the parliamentary domain, in addition to political, economic, social and energy fields.
They also discussed the important regional role played by Egypt to achieve security and stability in the region.
The meeting also touched upon ongoing political, economic and social development efforts and reforms nationwide.
