GAZA – Dozens of Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, were killed, and others were injured, while others were reported missing, in a series of attacks launched by warplanes, artillery, and military navy of the Israeli occupation army on various areas in the Gaza Strip, as the brutal aggression enters its 216th day, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
Medical sources said that dozens were killed as a result of the occupation warplanes bombing homes in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and others were injured with various injuries, while there are still missing people under the rubble of destroyed homes.
WAFA correspondent reported that dozens of people and wounded people were killed as a result of the intense missile and artillery bombardment launched by the occupation in the vicinity of Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, and along Street 8, towards homes and buildings, which led to the burning of a large number of them, with dozens of people missing, adding that no ambulances can reach them.
The occupation aircraft bombed 10 homes in the vicinity of Hassan Al-Banna Mosque and the University of Gaza, in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, which led to the displacement of thousands of citizens, especially from the schools of Atta Al-Shawa, Ain Jalut, Hassan Al-Nakhalah, Al-Falah, and Ali bin Abi Talib, towards the northern and western areas of Gaza City.
Israeli occupation aircraft fired bullets at citizens moving in the neighborhoods of Gaza City, especially in the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Tal Al-Hawa, and Al-Sabra, killing and wounding people in the streets, coinciding with the Israeli navy firing several shells and gunfire at the homes of citizens in Al-Sheikh. Ajlin and Tal al-Hawa, southwest of the city.
In Al-Sabra neighborhood in the center of Gaza City, a number of citizens were killed, and others were injured, as a result of the occupation bombing of a house owned by Abu Sharia family, amid calls for ambulances and civil defense to go to retrieve the victims and wounded from under the rubble of the house. There are still missing people under the rubble.
In the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, a woman and her son were killed in the bombing of a house.
In Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, occupation aircraft bombed a house belonging to Eid family, west of the city, killing eight civilians, including three children, one of whom is an infant.
The occupation planes continue to bomb the areas around the Rafah border crossing, with shells fired towards the eastern regions, especially in Al-Shuweika and Al-Jeneina.
The occupation naval boats fired machine guns towards the western areas of the city of Rafah, while the occupation artillery renewed its shelling of the Rafah municipality building in the south, which led to the destruction of parts of the building.
A fisherman was shot dead by the occupation forces while he was on the beach of Khan Yunis.
