WASHINGTON – As many as 520,674,228 people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally, Johns Hopkins University (JHU) reported on Saturday.
It added that about 6,262,580 have died from the virus worldwide.
The US continues to be the worst-hit country in terms of infections, followed by India and Brazil.
In terms of deaths, the US came first as well, followed by Brazil and India came third.
