Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on Wednesday met with the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, at Akasaka Palace, Tokyo.
The Bahraini official highlighted the depth of Bahrain-Japan relations, noting the Kingdom’s commitment to furthering bilateral ties, with the support of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Prince Salman bin Hamad and Kishida explored opportunities to advance the Bahrain-Japan strategic partnership, in view of the long-standing relations and progress made in various fields.
During the meeting, prospects for joint co-operation, the latest regional and international economic developments, and issues of common interest were also discussed.
