Arab League (AL) Assistant Secretary-General Ambassador Hossam Zaki said the 32nd Arab Summit will be held in Riyadh on May 19.
In statements Sunday, the AL official said AL Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit held talks with Saudi officials as they welcomed holding the summit at the set date.
A number of preparatory meetings, grouping ministers and higherups will be held ahead of the five-day gathering, he said.
Further scheduled in 2023, are the Arab socio-economic summit in Mauritania and the Arab-African Summit in Saudi Arabia.
