CAIRO – The Arab Parliament (AP) will hold on Saturday the fourth plenary session of the fourth convocation of the third legislative term, according to a statement released by the AP on Friday.
The session, to be held under AP Speaker Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al Assoumi, will discuss reports of the meetings of the permanent and sub-committees that concluded their work on Thursday, related to following up on developments in the political, security and social files in the Arab region.
The session will also discuss the Palestine Committee’s report, which comes in light of the special interest that the AP pays to the Palestinian issue, as it is the central issue.
The report also coincides with the difficult and inhuman conditions that the Palestinian people are facing under the occupation and the genocide war in the Gaza Strip that left tens of thousands of Palestinians dead, injured and displaced.
During the session, the chairmen of the four AP permanent committees are set to review reports presented by their four committees (the Foreign, Political and National Security Affairs Committee, the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee, the Legislative, Legal and Human Rights Affairs Committee, and the Social, Educational, Cultural, Women and Youth Affairs Committee) to approve them.
