CAIRO- The Arab Parliament will convene on Thursday a special session on Palestine under the title of “Supporting Palestine and Gaza” at the Arab League premises in the presence of a galaxy of Arab and international figures.
The session will be preceded by a meeting of the Palestine committee at the Arab Parliament on Wednesday to discuss the latest developments of the brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip as well as the serious escalation in the West Bank.
In a statement on Monday, the Arab Parliament said the special session comes as part of the sustained efforts of the Arab Parliament in backing the Palestinian cause and people.
The parliament asserted its full support and permanent standing by the Palestinian people against war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Israeli occupation in Palestine. It also pledged to continue exerting all possible efforts at the international forums in support of Palestinians and their just cause topped by the right to establish their independent state with Al Quds as its capital.
