CAIRO – The Arab Parliament (AP) strongly condemned attacks by the Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia with a number of explosive drones that were intercepted by the Arab Coalition Forces.
In a press statement on Sunday, the Arab legislative body called on the international community to take immediate and firm action to dissuade the Houthi militia from their deliberate and systematic criminal behavior.
The Arab Parliament said it denounces any assault on Saudi Arabia, warning of such attacks that undermine regional security and stability and constitute a blatant violation of the international community and all international laws and norms.
It expressed full solidarity with Riyadh in taking all necessary measures for preserving the kingdom’s security and stability.
