CAIRO – The second meeting of Arab ministers concerned with disaster risk reduction kicked off at the HQ of the Arab League General Secretariat Wednesday.
The ministers will follow up on developments that occurred since their first meeting in 2022.
They will also discuss their agendas for the sixth Arab forum on disaster risk reduction scheduled to take place in Kuwait on October 27-31 and the eighth international forum on disaster risk reduction in Switzerland in 2025.
The meeting will focus on developments regarding the reduction of disaster risks in the Arab world.
