RIYADH- The Arab Coalition has announced the launch of a military operation against the Houthi militia in Yemen.
In a statement carried by Al Arabiya News Channel on Sunday, the coalition said the operation includes air strikes against “Houthi potentials” in Sanaa and a number of other Yemeni provinces.
The coalition underlined that civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia are a red line, noting that this qualitative operation is in accordance with international humanitarian law and its norms.
Earlier today, the Arab Coalition intercepted and destroyed 10 explosive-laden drones launched by the Iran-backed Houthi group toward Saudi Arabia.
