CAIRO – The Arab League mission tasked with monitoring the 2024 Jordanian parliamentary elections stressed on Thursday that the polling process was held within the framework of the legal framework and international commitments.
In a statement on Thursday, the mission lauded the well organization and preparedness for the elections, especially using modern technology at ballot stations.
The mission said it will issue its report after announcing the elections’ outcome and refer it to AL Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit.
The mission, comprising observers from Egypt, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya and Yemen, visited 73 balloting stations and attended vote count in some of them.
The mission monitored low presence of local and international observers and high media coverage of the event.
