An extraordinary session of the Arab League Council kicked off on Thursday at the permanent delegates level.
The meeting is held at a request from Jordan that was backed by a number of Arab states.
The meeting will discuss a joint Arab action against Israel’s Knesset decision on banning the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The session will discuss needed steps for a unified Arab stand against the illegal Israeli measures.
The meeting is expected to come up with a statement on the joint Arab stand rejecting the Israeli measures against UNRWA.
