CAIRO – Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit congratulated Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Social Affairs Haifa Abu Ghazaleh for getting UN Population Award.
The award comes in appreciation of Abu Ghazaleh’s contribution in handling the issues of population, women and social development in Jordan and the AL in addition to her contributions in boosting co-operation between them and UN in these fields.
In a statement on Thursday, Abul Gheit lauded Abu Ghazaleh’s efforts since she assumed her post.
