RAFAH – The second batch of humanitarian and relief aid convoys crossed on Sunday to the Palestinian side through the Rafah Border Crossing in the south of the Gaza Strip.
Egypt’s efforts have succeeded to open the border crossing from the Palestinian side to deliver Egyptian and international humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, according to Al Qahera news channel.
The first batch of aid, which comprised 20 trucks loaded with medical and food supplies, passed through the Rafah Border Crossing on Saturday.
In a record time, the Egyptian state managed to renovate and rehabilitate the roads of the Rafah Border Crossing on the Palestinian side, in order to pave the way for the entry of aid convoys to the enclave.
