The Israeli occupation continues the aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the 14th consecutive day, which has so far killed 25 Palestinians, left dozens of injuries, detentions, and the demolition of dozens of homes, amidst a large displacement operation that affected 15,000 civilians, said WAFA Monday.

Yesterday, Walid Lahlouh, an eldery man, was killed by the bullets of the occupation forces at the entrance to Jenin camp, while another was shot in the thigh in Al-Jabariyat neighborhood of the city.

The occupation forces also simultaneously blew up about 20 buildings in the eastern part of Jenin camp, after booby-trapping them, which caused damage to some sections of Jenin Governmental Hospital. No injuries were reported, however.

The occupation forces notified the family of the family of Palestinian youth Qusay Al-Saadi that their house in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city, which consists of three floors, would be bombed if his son Qusay did not surrender, claiming that he was wanted by the occupation authorities.

Two journalists were also attacked while covering the field conditions in Jenin.

The occupation continues to send reinforcements to the city of Jenin camp from the Jalameh military checkpoint, while its bulldozers continue to destroy homes in Al-Damj neighborhood.

Jenin Mayor Mohammad Jarar said that about 15,000 people were displaced from Jenin camp and Al-Hadaf neighborhood, and were distributed in 39 local community bodies in Jenin governorate and its towns.

Jarar added in a phone call that “We are facing a humanitarian disaster in the city of Jenin, especially with the continued evacuation of citizens and forcing them to flee, as the occupation forced about 300 people to leave their homes in Al-Qanari and Al-Safa buildings on Saturday night, adding that despite the formation of committees to provide relief to citizens affected by emergency needs, the biggest challenge is finding housing for this large number of displaced people.”

Jarar stressed the increase in the number of houses that were completely demolished by the occupation in the camp after it blew up 20 buildings, explaining that the houses in the camp are built vertically, due to the narrow spaces, which means that these buildings contain more than one residential apartment inside them.

The government and private schools in the city and Jenin camp will continue their work electronically on Monday due to the continued aggression of the occupation forces.
