The 160th session of the Arab League Council at the permanent delegates level kicked off on Monday under the presidency of Morocco which was handed over the rotating presidency of the session from Egypt.
The meeting is scheduled to address the issues tabled on the agenda of the Arab Foreign Ministers Council, due to kick off on Wednesday.
MENA learnt that nine items will be included on the agenda of the Arab League Council meeting at the permanent delegates’ level. The agenda is topped by issues related to activating the joint Arab action.
The second item is relevant to the Palestinian issue and the Arab-Israeli conflict, in addition to following up on the latest developments of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and means of activating the Arab peace initiative.
Other issues will include the Arab national security, the developments in Syria, Libya, Yemen, the three UAE islands occupied by Iran, navigation security, energy supplies, among others.
