NEW YORK — Back in May, WhatsApp increased its WhatsApp Group size to 512 people and it also allowed users to send larger files up to 2GB in size. If your current WhatsApp Group is getting bigger and the 512 limit isn’t enough, WhatsApp now lets you have up to 1,024 users in a single group.
The app is now working on the ability to let you add up to a whopping 1,024 people in a single group chat. The feature has already started rolling out to beta testers, meaning it may become widely available soon.
The increased WhatsApp Group limit was revealed by WABetaInfo and it is said to be rolling out this week to both Android and iOS devices.
As always, the new WhatsApp update was spotted by none other than the feature tracker blog WABetaInfo. According to their latest findings, WhatsApp has increased the group member limit once again, letting you add up to 1024 people in a group chat instead of the previous 512.
