Simplex Industrial Solutions and Software Company, which specialises in manufacturing Computerised Numerical Control (CNC) machines in the industrial sector, plans to establish a new factory for the production of CNC machines, used in drilling work on metal and wood surfaces, a senior company official said.
Engineer Ahmed Shaaban, CEO of Simplex, added that the current period is witnessing the preparation of studies for the inauguration of the new factory in the Tenth of Ramadan City, which will contribute to increasing the company’s production capacity by up to 100 per cent.
He explained that the company is in talks with a number of banks to obtain credit facilities estimated at about LE40 million for the purpose of inaugurating the new factory, which will be the largest of its kind in the Middle East region.
”The company is working as per a strategy for expanding in the field of local manufacturing of CNC machines with the aim of meeting the needs of the local market and exporting the surplus to neighbouring countries during the next stage,” he said.
He pointed out that the company is interested in providing all technical support and maintenance services to companies and customers who buy CNC machines, in addition to training technicians on the latest equipment operating systems.
“The industrial field is fertile for local companies and manufacturers to expand and pump more investments into local manufacturing projects, especially with the increase in growth rates, thanks to the policies and projects implemented by countries in establishing new cities, which will contribute to increasing demand for equipment and machinery,” he concluded.
