Red Hat Summit 2021 opened in Cairo

Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open-source software solutions, organised the third edition of the Red Hat Summit 2021 in Cairo. The current edition of the Red Hat Summit is the first to be held in Egypt and coincides with the imminent announcement of the opening of Red Hat’s offices in the country at the beginning of 2022.

 

‏Red Hat Summit Connect gathers open-source experts from diverse backgrounds for dozens of engaging sessions focused on key trends, best practices, and the latest technologies in areas like big data, IoT, IT modernisation, cloud, and mobile.

 

‏Eng Ghada Labib, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, led the opening of the event. She is joined by delegates from Red Hat that include Mr Adrian Pickering, Regional General Manager MENA, Mr Ayman El Sheikh, Solution Architect Director, MENA, Mr Philip Andrews, Vice President, and General Manager CEMEA, Ms. Noha Kadry, Red Hat Academy Manager META, Mr. Aly Noureldin, Sales & Channel Manager MENA, and a group of ICT experts and dignitaries and leaders of Egyptian and international companies involved in information security.
