Orange Egypt, the leading provider of integrated telecommunications services, showcased a wide range of its latest solutions and technologies through its participation in the 26th edition of the ICT exhibition to best support the digital transformation of major projects in addition to its digital services and solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises and services for individuals in several leading sectors which will ultimately support the Egyptian government’s digital transformation strategy.
The company also presented its services in the field of smart ports, relying on 5G hologram technologies, which plays a vital role in this field due to its speed and high accuracy in data transfer, as it is heavily relied upon to move giant equipment and vehicles inside the smart ports. This is in addition to using 5G technology to monitor the entry and exit of people and equipment from and into the port, as well as some areas within the port that require high-speed data transmission to issue these permits.
Orange is also displaying the Computing Cube, a self-contained Nano computer that does not require a battery and runs entirely on green energy represented by light energy. It has several sensors, a built-in camera and an electronic display that is supported by BLE technology. The cube’s processor is able to execute many algorithms using AI technology to develop many applications, such as environmental monitoring, predictive maintenance, smart speakers, and face recognition.
Furthermore, Orange Egypt displayed its latest features of its online store ‘O-Pro’ that is specialized in marketing products and services that meet the needs of business management in a variety of industries and are compatible with digital transformation plans and goals, particularly for SMEs. The store offers shopping services among a wide range of products and solutions that are carefully developed and selected by Orange and KlayyTech.
The new store covers the entire needs of companies in terms of products and services necessary to implement digital transformation plans from Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Business, corporate e-mail, local and international Internet domains, cloud computing services, e-signature, design and implementation of e-commerce websites, commercial and advertising SMS text messaging services, and other corporate solutions, and will also include other products offered by Orange partners, making O-Pro a diversified and rich marketplace that allows companies in various fields’ greater flexibility in achieving their business goals.
Orange Egypt also announced ENGZ program presented by Daman-CGC, a program that allows direct interaction with owners of micro, small, and medium enterprises and provides integrated support for this category in order to provide them with appropriate financing for the continuation and development of their business.
Furthermore, Orange booth is demonstrating a practical application of the company’s electronic signature service for individuals, which are provided in collaboration with Egypt Trust. It will also showcase electronic signature and stamp services for individuals and businesses, which are currently available in some of the company’s branches but will be gradually expanded to cover the majority of Egypt’s governorates by the end of 2022.
Orange will also provide real estate registration services during the exhibition, as part of a broader practical application of a service that was previously launched experimentally within two Orange branches and in preparation for service provision in 20 Orange branches across 12 governorates.
Orange has also displayed a number of successful startups’ projects in the field of information and communication technology where Orange Digital Center was able to make an impact on, either by providing the required technical support, or linking them with potential investors or helping to speed up and facilitate their introduction and presence in the market.
