CAIRO – The Egyptian Armed Forces continue to provide full support for the national digital initiative in line with directives from Egypt’s political leadership to keep pace with rapid developments in communications and information technology.
As part of this commitment, the Egyptian Military Academy has signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Tahya Misr Fund to advance the Pioneers of Digital Egypt (Digilians) initiative, in collaboration with various ministries and national institutions.
The signing ceremony was attended by Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Ashraf Salem Zaher, Communications and Information Technology (CIT) Minister Amr Talaat and Executive Director of the Tahya Misr Fund Tamer Abdel Fattah.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Talaat expressed his appreciation for the fruitful cooperation and the efforts exerted to ensure the successful implementation of the initiative.
He noted that the initiative enjoys full support and attention from the political leadership.
The protocol aims to strengthen joint cooperation in support of Egypt’s digital transformation and to achieve the state’s strategic objectives.
It seeks to meet the aspirations of Egyptian youth and equip them with skills aligned with labor market requirements.
The initiative will apply modern technologies and techniques to keep pace with rapid advancements in communications and information technology.
