Under the slogan Life’s Good, and as part of its ongoing partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation, LG Egypt announced the continuation of the “Better Home” initiative to support the marriage of young people with disabilities in the governorates of Luxor and Cairo.

This comes within the company’s continuous efforts to improve the quality of life of underprivileged families and to provide a safe and stable environment for starting their married lives.

The initiative was launched in several villages and neighborhoods across the two governorates, in support of Misr El Kheir Foundation’s efforts to facilitate marriage and support young men and women with disabilities, with a focus on strengthening family cohesion and social stability.

LG’s contributions included providing a range of modern home appliances, such as top-load washing machines and 43-inch smart TVs, in addition to technical support and appliance installation to ensure a comfortable and efficient user experience for beneficiary families.

This initiative is part of a series of achievements accomplished by LG Egypt over the past three years, during which the company has supported more than 5,000 beneficiaries across over 63 villages through a variety of community programs and initiatives, including:
• Marriage facilitation initiatives for young people and underprivileged families
• Blood donation initiatives to enhance healthcare services
• Community schools initiatives to improve the educational environment
• Health initiatives and healthcare support for the most deserving families
• Ramadan food box initiatives to provide nutritional support
• Support for orphanages and the elderly
• Support for non-eligible families
• Support for people with disabilities and rehabilitation centers to enhance social inclusion

Mohamed El-Gadawy, Marketing and Public Relations Manager at LG Egypt, said:
“The Better Home initiative to support the marriage of people with disabilities reflects LG’s commitment to providing smart technological solutions that contribute to improving the lives of Egyptian families, and embodies the true meaning of our slogan Life’s Good by supporting and empowering local communities to build a better future within their homes.”

For his part, Eng. Ahmed Youssef, Director of Direct Aid at Misr El Kheir Foundation, affirmed that the initiatives offered by the foundation throughout the year stem from its deep belief in its role in supporting deserving families across all governorates of the Republic. He praised the ongoing partnership with LG Egypt, which has contributed over the years to creating a tangible positive impact in local communities.

LG Egypt confirms that the “Better Home” initiative represents a new phase within its long-term strategy to promote sustainable development and support community efforts in Egypt, with future plans to expand the scope of the initiatives to include other governorates, in continuation of the company’s commitment to improving quality of life and empowering underprivileged families and groups.
