The activities of the largest industrial event in Egypt and Africa will be launched next Thursday, under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. 200 local and international companies are scheduled to attend the event.
Hazem Badr, head of the exhibition organising company, said in a press statement that this huge industrial event includes in its new session 4 important industrial exhibitions; namely, “MACTECH”, “HANDLING EXPO”, “AIRTECH”, and EARTH MOVING.
A number of ministers, officials and representatives of the business community were invited to attend this huge event. Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Nevine Gamea and head of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation, Lieutenant-General Abdel-Moneim al-Tarras, are among the invitees.
Ehab Abu Zeid, managing director of the exhibition’s organising company, said that this huge industrial event is a great opportunity to deepen the local industry.
He pointed out that this large gathering allows Egyptian manufacturers and investors to modernise their factories, by acquiring advanced equipment that helps them increase productivity in a way that saves time and cost and reduces waste, and thus increase their competitiveness in the two Egyptian and exporting markets and support the state’s plan to deepen the local industry, and curb random import from abroad.
