The Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) organized DevOpsDays Cairo 2023 at Creativa Innovation Hub in Giza.
The event comes as part of ITIDA and its affiliate SECC efforts to raise awareness of the latest IT trends and connect and encourages the free flow of information, sharing experiences, and communication among peers and DevOps enthusiasts, developers, IT operations, management, CEO’s, sales, marketing teams and system admins.
Dr. Hossam Osman, SECC Chairman and ITIDA VP inaugurated the event which was held in collaboration with several global and local IT companies, including ATOS, DXC Technology, and Orange Labs, the event held for the 6th consecutive year focused on the theme “AI for DevOps Transformation”.
DevOps approach is a set of technical practices and tools that improve communication and collaboration between software developers and IT operations teams. It helps to reduce costs, improve productivity, and implement processes more reliably and efficiently.
DevOpsDays is a volunteer-led worldwide series of technical conferences that first launched in Belgium in 2009, covering software development, IT infrastructure operations, and their intersection.
Established in 2001, SECC aims to boost the local software industry by improving software engineering practices to achieve a strong presence in the global market. The Center provides leading technology services that enhance the efficiency of IT companies and improve their internal capabilities. It also organizes workshops and training courses to enable companies to assimilate and implement modern technology.
