Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat asserted the state is keen on setting the stage for more investments in the sector of communications and information technology.
The state is also very interested in encouraging global companies to further benefit from competitive advantages in the country and incentives offered by the government to develop their work, added the minister.
Talaat was visiting the centre of excellence of US Dell Technologies on Sunday.
He said the state is acting to boost its competitive capabilities in outsourcing industry and the exportation of IT services, in addition to investing in human cadres, building abilities and developing digital skills along with encouraging technological creation in order to promote economic and social development.
He pointed out that his ministry is co-operating with major IT companies worldwide to achieve the state’s vision on establishing digital economy and provide job opportunities for youth in this vital sector.
