Supporting entrepreneurs and incubation
The CIT Chamber also signed a cooperation agreement with the Innovation Support Fund, affiliated with the Academy of Scientific Research. This government entity is a key supporter of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The partnership is a step towards integrating technological manufacturing with activities supported by the fund to create, support, and develop more startups in this sector.
The agreement was signed by Engineer Khaled Ibrahim, Chairman of the CIT Chamber, and Dr. Hany Ayad, Head of the Innovation Support Fund under the Ministry of Higher Education.
Additionally, a cooperation agreement was signed with the MisrEl-Kheir Foundation, a leading civil society organization active in entrepreneurship and innovation, through the “Jusoor” incubator initiative.
This step aims to build a supportive ecosystem for all technological manufacturing activities.
Enhancing innovation
Engineer Khaled Ibrahim, Chairman of the CIT Chamber, emphasized that these steps align with the chamber’s vision of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship as core elements of its strategy.
This complements its other roles in supporting major corporations, SMEs, and fostering cooperation between civil society institutions, government agencies, and the scientific community.

This is vital in light of global economic challenges, increased competitiveness, and the necessity to boost exports while reducing imports.
Bilateral session with El-Araby Group
As part of the conference’s efforts to support local industries and advance technological manufacturing towards digital transformation, the CIT Chamber organized a bilateral session between officials of El-Araby Group and eight member companies.
The aim was to provide technological solutions to industrial challenges faced by the group.
These challenges were related to logistics and supply chain activities. A second round of meetings is planned following the establishment of an initial framework for collaboration between El-Araby Group and participating companies.
