CAIRO – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Abroad Badr Abdelatty held a meeting on Sunday to follow up on the progress of the project to digitize and modernise the system of historical documents and records as part of efforts to develop a comprehensive electronic database and preserve official archives with the highest standards of efficiency and security.
The meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ digital transformation plan and its strategy to upgrade technological infrastructure.
The meeting tackled the latest updates related to the implementation of the project which includes the development of an advanced electronic archiving system.
Abdelatty emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest security standards to ensure the protection and integrity of official documents.
He added that the digitization project will contribute to modernizing the ministry’s administrative system.
