Ericsson wins best 5G MENA award 1 - Egyptian Gazette

Ericsson was awarded in the Best 5G Core Technology (Vendor) category for its dual mode 5G Core technology at the 5G Middle East and North Africa(MENA)2021 Digital Symposium virtualawards ceremony. The award recognises the best core network solution that is enabling network transformation or a new service for operators with guaranteed quality of experience. Attending the ceremony were key players in the region’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry.

Lucky La Riccia, Vice President and Head of Digital Services at Ericsson Middle East and Africasaid: “Being recognised for our achievements by our peers in the industry is quite an honour and we are pleased to receive this award for our 5G core technology. For more than a century, we have been working with our partners to transform every sector of society, helping to create positive change through empowering an intelligent, sustainable and connected world. We believe in the power of 5G and its ability to help countries across the region realise their national visions for the future, and transform industries and societies as we know them, and we’re committed to supporting this journey.”
