Ericsson Egypt has announced that it has reached a significant milestone in its push to hire more Egyptian talents with an overall 25 per cent increase in its workforce.
In its drive to closely align with Egypt’s Vision 2030, Ericsson Egypt has focused its hiring on Egyptian talents and expertise, and has hired new local talents into essential business functions such as communication engineering, and computer science to cater to the business growth and to capitalise on the human capital available in Egypt. Ninety nine per cent of Ericsson Egypt’s workforce comes from the local Egyptian talent pool.
Sameh Shoukry, Country Manager of Ericsson Egypt says, “Ericsson Egypt has long had a commitment to developing local talent and adding 25 per cent to our workforce is a real demonstration of our growth and long-term commitment to the country.
Egypt has an incredibly talented pool of individuals and it is an honour to nurture that talent through a number of Ericsson initiatives. We won’t stop here and in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, we plan to continue hiring Egyptians capable of shaping our business in this age of rapid digital transformation across the country.”
