President of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) Amr Adly said on Tuesday that the university attaches great importance to encouraging students to participate in various local and international competitions.
He stressed the importance of providing students with technical and financial support to achieve the Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS): Egypt Vision 2030.
Adly said that a university team of students succeeded in designing, manufacturing, programming and testing a submarine named “The White Monster, Shiro Kaijin”, using the resources provided by the university, in a bid to take part in a competition for various universities.
Adly has said the university provides all the capabilities to its students through its laboratories that include Japanese-made state-of-the-art devices and equipment to support higher education and scientific research system in Egypt.
