CONNECT-PS, the Egyptian company specialised in the development and provision of information and communication systems services and software, announced completing expansion and modernisation work of the Information Technology Centre at the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
This project, the company said in a statement, comes within the framework of the state’s vision to bolster the IT pillars, increase the pace of digital transformation, and contribute to achieving a streamlined transmission and protection of information to support decision-making and crisis management strategy.
The project also comes within the framework of the petroleum sector’s endeavours to achieve tangible success stories in all fields of the petroleum industry, and aims to realise optimal economic benefit from all capabilities and natural resources, in a way that would contribute to the sustainable development of Egypt, and to transform it into a regional centre for oil and gas trade and circulation.
Commenting on this project, Ahmed Helmy, Head of Business Development Sector at CONNECT-PS Company in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa, said that the company is proud to implement such a strategic project, which includes providing the latest infrastructure systems solutions for information technology centres.
