BD (Becton, Dickinson, and Company) (NYSE: BDX), a leading global medical technology company, inaugurated its Scientific Office in Egypt to establish itself as a preferred medical technology partner for patient safety and healthcare worker safety solutions in the country.
Launching a Scientific Office in Egypt is a part of the company’s continued efforts to enhance the quality of patient care and healthcare worker safety in the region. With Egypt being the third-largest healthcare market in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), BD recognized the need to have a footprint in the country to raise awareness about the adoption of medical technology to further bolster the country’s healthcare infrastructure to be more resilient and sustainable.

The Egypt office will be led by Loay Badr. Loay brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare and is responsible for partnering with customers to enhance the quality of care they provide to patients.

BD will focus on working with local authorities and organizations to improve accessibility to medical technology and creating awareness, contributing to the growth of Egypt and ensuring high-quality care for patients.
