CAIRO — Defending champions Zamalek and Ismaili claimed victories in their matches in the 24th week of the Egyptian Premier League 2022-2023 season.

At the Military Academy Stadium, Zamalek defeated bottom side Haras el-Hedoud 3-0.

Both sides went into the game desperate for a win — Haras el-Hedoud needed the three points to help their relegation fight, while Zamalek was looking to build on that domestic league victory over NBE Club on Sunday.

Striker Nasser Mansy opened the scoring for the White Knights in the 14th minutes as defender Hossam Abdel-Meguid added the second in the 45th minutes.
