CAIRO – The 2022 edition of the Alexandria Half Marathon will kick off Friday under the auspices of Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi.
The marathon will include six distances that participants can choose from, namely the 2-km race, the 5-km, the 10-km, the 21-km, the 2-km para race and the family race.
The Alexandria Half Marathon is an annual running event hosted by Alex Night Runners. It is one of the largest and most inclusive marathons in the region as it caters to elite and amateur runners while offering side events for families and children.
Meanwhile, the world’s leading obstacle course challenge Tough Mudder will be held Friday for the first time in El Gouna city, which is positioned on the stunning shore of the Red Sea.
It will be held under the auspices of the Youth and Sports Ministry and in cooperation with TriFactory.
