Wins for Ceramica, Future FC as Pyramids stumble in Egyptian Premier League

Ceramica Cleopatra and Future FC claimed victories while Pyramids FC was hit by defeat at 20^th matchday of the 2021-22 Egyptian Premier League season.

At Arab Contractors Stadium, Ceramica Cleopatra thrashed Misr el-Maqassa 4-1.

Central midfielder Karim Halawa opened the scoring for Misr el-Maqassa in the 15^th minute as Left-back player Ahmed Mohsen equalised in the 38^th minute.

Centre-back player Ahmed Mahmoud added the second for Ceramica in the 67^th minute as playmaker Mohamed Ibrahim scored the third from the penalty spot in the 85^th minute.

Then Ahmed Mohsen added the second goal for him and the fourth for Ceramica in the 96^th minute.

The victory pushed Ceramica Cleopatra to 10th place with 24 points from 20 games as Misr el-Maqassa slipped to 17th place with 13 points from 20 matches.

Elsewhere, Future FC stunned Al-Masry of Port Said 1-0 at Alexandria’s Borg el-Arab Stadium.

Central midfielder Karim Nedved scored the match sole goal in the 81^st minute.

The result left Future FC to 4th place with 34 points from 19 matches as Al-Masry of Port Said remained at 13th place with 20 points from 19 games.

At Alexandria Stadium, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria stunned Pyramids FC 1-0.

The Alexandrian-based club goal came from Angolan centre-forward Mabululu in the 83^rd minute.

The win lifted Al-Ittihad into 12th place with 22 points from 20 matches as Pyramids FC remained in 2nd place with 39 points from 19 games.

At the same week, hosts Ismaili was held to a 2-2 draw against NBE Club at the Ismailia Stadium.

Centre-forward player Mohamed el-Shami scored for Ismaili in the 13^th minute as left-winger Karim Bambo grabbed the equaliser for NBE Club in the 48^th minute.

Ismaili’s right-winger Wagih Abdel Hakim added the second in the 86^th minute as NBE Club grabbed the equaliser through right-winger Mohamed Kaud in the 89^h minute.

The result pushed NBE Club to 8th place with 26 points from 19 matches as Ismaili stayed in 15^th place with 18 points from 19 games.

Elsewhere, Talae el-Geish defeated Arab Contractors 1-0 At Cairo’s Military Sports Authority Stadium.

Striker Victory Beniangba scored the match sole goal in the 69^th minute.

The victory pushed Talae el-Geish to 6th place with 29 points from 20 matches as Arab Contractors stayed in 14th place with 18 points from 20 games.

Smouha, at the same week, was held to a 2-2 draw against Eastern Company at Petrosport Stadium.

Eastern Company goals came from centre-back Mohamed Saleh from a penalty spot in the 11th minute as right-winger Ahmed Meteb added the second in the 47^th minute.

Striker Marawan Hamdi opened the scoring for Smouha in the 65th minute as centre-forward Alia Sylla grabbed the equaliser in the stoppage time 90+4.

The result pushed Smouha to 5th place with 34 points from 20 games as Eastern Company stayed in 18th place with 12 points from 19 matches.
