CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi has congratulated modern pentathlon player Salma Ayman on winning the gold medal at the Hungarian Indoor Open Championships that were held in Budapest from February 18 to 24.
The minister also expressed thanks, appreciation and gratitude to Egyptian Ambassador to Hungary Mohamed el Shenawy and all embassy staffers for receiving the Egyptian modern pentathlon team and removing all obstacles facing them.
The medals ceremony was attended by the ambassador and all staffers of the Egyptian Embassy in Hungary, which reflects the importance attached by the Egyptian State to sport and players in all sports.
