The Spanish embassy in Cairo received on Wednesday a delegation from the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (LaLiga) within the framework of supporting its first camp in Egypt under the slogan “LaLiga Camps Egypt.”
In a press release on Wednesday, the Spanish embassy said the visit by the league and the Egyptian sports administration agency SIXYARDS will offer a great chance for Egyptian youths enchanted with football playing.
Spanish Ambassador to Egypt Alvaro Iranzo expressed happiness for the initiative, noting that football is not just a sport, it is a language for communication among people and cultures.
A LaLiga representative in Egypt underlined the importance of the camp for honing skills of talented footballers.
He said Egypt is rich with football talents.
SIXYARDS director Hisham Amr Marzouq expressed appreciation for the support offered by the embassy and cooperation with the LaLiga.
The camp will be held from April 21 to 26 in Hurghada and will receive football talents aging between 9 to 17 years old.
