CAIRO – Pyramids FC returned to the top of the Egyptian Premier League standings with a hard-fought victory over Modern Sport, while Ceramica Cleopatra and Enppi shared the spoils. Al-Ittihad of Alexandria also emerged victorious over El-Gouna in the 14th round of the competition.

At Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo, Pyramids FC secured a crucial 1-0 win over Modern Sport.
The match opened with high intensity, as Modern Sport’s forward Mohamed Atef squandered an early chance, denied by a fine save from Pyramids goalkeeper Ahmed el-Shenawy.

Despite dominating possession and creating multiple opportunities, Pyramids were repeatedly thwarted by Modern Sport’s goalkeeper Mahmoud Gennesh, who produced an outstanding stop to deny Congolese striker Fiston Mayele.
The breakthrough came in first-half stoppage time when striker Ibrahim Adel netted the decisive goal, heading home a precise cross from Moroccan full-back Mohamed Chibi.

Pyramids maintained pressure throughout the second half, but Modern Sport failed to mount a comeback.
The victory elevated Pyramids FC to the top of the table with 33 points from 14 matches (10 wins, 3 draws, 1 defeat). Meanwhile, Modern Sport remained anchored at the bottom, sitting 18th with just 8 points (1 win, 5 draws, 8 losses).
At the Suez Canal Authority Stadium, Ceramica Cleopatra and Enppi played out an entertaining 2–2 draw in their encounter.

Ceramica took an early lead, with midfielder Mahmoud Abdel-Hafiz ‘Zalaka’ scoring in the 22nd minute.
The lead was doubled just six minutes later when Algerian forward Ahmed Belhadj found the net in the 28th minute.

Enppi responded swiftly, reducing the deficit through center-back Hesham Adel’s goal in the 33rd minute.
The comeback was completed in the 60th minute when Tunisian winger Rafik Kabou struck the equalizer.

The draw brings Ceramica Cleopatra’s tally to 21 points, placing them sixth in the standings with a record of 5 wins, 6 draws, and 3 losses.
Enppi, on the other hand, remained in 17th place with 9 points from 1 win, 6 draws, and 7 defeats.

At Alexandria Stadium, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over El-Gouna, thanks to a decisive 87th-minute strike from forward Fadi Farid.
The crucial win propelled Al-Ittihad to eighth place in the league standings with 18 points, while El-Gouna slipped to 16th with 10 points.

At Haras el-Hodood Stadium in Alexandria, Haras el-Hodood secured a convincing 2-0 win against Pharco FC.
Forward Mahmoud Mamdouh starred with a brace, opening the scoring in the 23rd minute after breaking into the box and blasting a powerful shot past goalkeeper Mohamed Shika.

Mamdouh struck again in the 74th minute with a brilliant solo effort, sealing the win for the hosts.
The victory lifts Haras el-Hodood to seventh place with 21 points, while Pharco FC remained ninth with 18 points.
