Preparing the national team for the African Nations Cup topped the agenda of official talks yesterday.
Minister for Sports and Youth Ashraf Sobhi met with the Egyptian Football Association president Gamal Allam to discuss the training and line-up of the Egyptian squad for the African Nations Cup in Côte d’Ivoire from 13 January 2024 until 11 February 2024,
The minister said that participation in the cup tournament will enable Egypt to gain greater prominence in other international events, notably the Paris Olympics in 2024.
