All eyes are on Tuesday’s pivotal 2026 World Cup qualifier as the Egyptian national football team prepares to face Burkina Faso.
The match, which is set to be played in Ouagadougou, holds the key to Egypt’s direct qualification for the global tournament.

With a win, the Pharaohs would secure their spot in the 2026 World Cup, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This would mark a significant achievement, sealing their place with matches to spare and continuing a promising qualifying campaign.
The team has been on a strong run, and a victory on Tuesday would be a fitting reward for their consistent performance.
The match scheduled to kick off at 7pm (CLT) at the August 4 Stadium.
Dr Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, offered his final words of encouragement to the players and coaching staff before their departure, expressing his full confidence in their ability to secure the win.
