Nasser Al-Attiyah has claimed his sixth career title at the 2026 Baja Hail Toyota International Rally after a commanding performance in the desert. Driving an Optimus MD alongside co-driver Max Delfino, the Qatari champion completed the final stage in 4 hours, 6 minutes, and 32 seconds.
He beat Saudi star Yazeed Al-Rajhi, who finished in second place by just 42 seconds, while Saudi Arabia’s Dania Akeel secured an impressive third-place finish.
Following the race Governor of Hail Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz officially crowned the winners at Maghway Park.
The ceremony celebrated champions across multiple categories, including Saudi driver Yasser Bin Seaidan, who topped the Challenger class, and Alex McInnes, who took first place in the motorcycle division.
Saudi favorites Fares Al-Shammeri and Muteb Al-Qanoon also saw success in the national category, further highlighting the deep pool of talent at this year’s event.

He credited the event’s continued growth to the significant support from the Ministry of Sport and the Saudi leadership.
