Misr Italia Properties (MIP) has announced the launch of 3rd edition of the Il Bosco International Padel Tournament, at the Il Bosco Sports Club in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).
Egypt Italy Real Estate Company launched the third edition of the Bosco International Padel Championship under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company, in cooperation with the International and Egyptian Padel Federations. The championship is taking place from May 22 to 25 at the Bosco Sporting Club in the New Administrative Capital, with the attendance of Engineer Khaled Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Administrative Capital Company, and the participation of 240 local and international players.
The tournament is held annually in partnership with Egypt JPadel. In line with its commitment to encourage youth participation in sports, increase the base of padel players locally and globally, and enhance the skills and levels of Egyptian talents, the championship has added a new cup this year for juniors, known as the Bosco International Padel Junior Championship, where players between the ages of 14 and 18, both local and international, compete.
The tournament is part of Egypt Italy Real Estate Company’s efforts to organize various events to promote and highlight the achievements of the New Administrative Capital project. It aligns with the state’s efforts to host and organize major sports tournaments to promote sports tourism and put Egypt on the international map in the field of sports. Additionally, the tournament boasts the largest female participation in Egypt and the Arab world, as well as a university championship. Participating countries include Egypt, England, Italy, Qatar, Spain, Argentina, France, and the UAE, while Chile, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan, and Hungary are participating for the first time.
Engineer Khaled Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company, stated that the New Administrative Capital has become a hub for investment and important tournaments. He emphasized the significance of the Bosco International Padel Championship, highlighting the company’s support for it as one of the major events in the New Administrative Capital, contributing to the promotion of this giant project and attracting local and foreign investments to it. He also expressed his welcome to cooperating with Egypt Italy Real Estate Company in future projects that add value to the New Administrative Capital, in support of any serious developer contributing to its development.
In this regard, Engineer Mohamed Hani Al-Asal, CEO and Managing Director of Egypt Italy Real Estate Company, emphasized the company’s commitment to meeting the needs of its clients, as reflected in its slogan “Life Inspired by You.” He stated that this is not just a slogan but a strategy the company adheres to. Thus, they have planned for the second phase of the Bosco Sporting Club, which includes football, basketball, tennis courts, and a comprehensive children’s playground, in addition to the success of the first phase consisting of 6 padel courts. This reflects their belief in the importance of sports.
Engineer Mohamed Khaled Al-Asal, CEO and Managing Director of Egypt Italy Real Estate Company, mentioned the company’s interest in sports and organizing international sports events, which contributes to attracting attention to the New Administrative Capital and highlighting its developments. He emphasized that the sports tournaments they organize at the Bosco Sporting Club serve as a promotional tool, especially for sports tourism. This is evidenced by the participation of international players from more than 15 countries in the third edition of the Bosco International Padel Championship.
Ismail Sadek, CEO of JPadel, expressed gratitude for the trust Egypt Italy Real Estate Company has placed in JPadel Egypt and the continuation of their partnership. He added, “This edition of the tournament is different and distinguished from previous ones. This marks the third consecutive year of the tournament, in addition to our tenth year since our inception. For the past 10 years, we have been pioneers in bringing paddle tennis to Egypt, which has now become a favorite sport for both youth and adults, and all games are playable even for those who have stopped practicing sports for a long time.”
It is worth mentioning that Egypt Italy Real Estate Company has developed the Bosco project in the New Administrative Capital on an area of 200 acres, which includes the first integrated residential area in the New Administrative Capital opened in the first quarter of 2024, consisting of more than 1500 residential units, including villas and various sizes of apartments, the Bosco Sporting Club, and a community center with a swimming pool, providing a better quality of life for the project’s residents, with units surrounded by vast green spaces overlooking the green river and the world’s largest central park.
