Gouna, Degla, Entag claim wins in Egyptian Premier League

El-Gouna FC, Wadi Degla and El-Entag el-Harby claimed victories in their matches in the 27th week of the 2020-21 Egyptian Premier League season.

At El-Gouna Stadium, El-Gouna defeated Ceramica Cleopatra 3-2. El-Gouna’s goals came from midfielder Amr Barakat in the 25th minutes, striker Omar el-Said in the 56th minutes and defensive midfielder Nour el-Sayed in the 65th minutes.

Striker Ahmed Yasser Rayan scored twice for Ceramica Cleopatra in the 9th and 15th minutes.

The victory pushed El-Gouna to 8th place with 35 points from 27 matches as Ceramica Cleopatra remained at 11th place with 32 points from 26 matches.

At Aswan Stadium, Wadi Degla stunned Aswan 4-1. Wadi Degla’s goals came from attacking midfielder Mohamed Reda in the 2nd, 11th minutes, defensive midfielder Ahmed Said in the 34th minutes and forward Ahmed Atef in the 44th minutes.

Aswan’s sole goal came from defensive midfielder Nour el-Sayed in the 65th minutes.

The result pushed Wadi Degla to 16th place with 22 points from 26 matches as Aswan remained at 15th place with 24 points from 26 matches.

Elsewhere, El-Entag el-Harby beat Al-Masry of Port Said 3-2 at Alexandria Stadium.

El-Entag’s goal came through Tanzanian defensive midfielder Hamid Maw in the 34th minutes, left winger Moustafa el-Badri in the 69th minutes and right winger Mahmoud Ragab in the 84th minutes.

Al-Masry’s goals came from right winger Omar Kamal in the 31st minutes as centre-back player Islam Salah added the second in the 44th minutes.

The win kept El-Entag el-Harby in the 17th place with 25 points from 25 matches as Al-Masry of Port Said remained at 2nd place with 43 points from 27 matches.

Meanwhile, Ghazl el-Mahalla held to a 1-1 draw against Al-Ittihad of Alexandria at El-Mahalla Stadium.

Al-Ittihad’s goal came from right winger Hesham Nabawi in the 52nd minutes as attacking midfielder Khaled el-Ghandour scored Mahalla’s sole goal in the 22nd minutes.

The result pushed Ghazl el-Mahalla to 12th place with 32 points from 27 matches as Al-Ittihad remained at 5th place with 38 points from 27 matches.
