Egyptian champion Marwan el-Kamash, player of the national swimming team, made a historic achievement after participating in the African Swimming Championships, which was held in Ghana during the period from 11 to 17 October 2021.
The Egyptian champion won six gold medals in all the competitions in which he participated in the championship.
During the tournament, Marwan won the gold medal in:
800m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 4x200m freestyle, 400m freestyle, 4x100m freestyle, and in the 1500m freestyle.
Thus, the Egyptian swimmer becomes the crowned champion in this tournament, and he deserved the title of “Golden Whale”, which the international press called him.
