MADRID – Egypt’s Tennis star Mayar Sherif reached the round of 32 at the Madrid Open after defeating Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina.
Sherif, ranked No 59, beat Kalinina 6-2, 7-6.
She will play No 40 Caroline Garcia of France in the next round.
The tournament kicked off in the Spanish capital on Monday, and will wrap up on May 7.
