TUNIS – Egypt’s Sandra Samir won the 16th African Cup of Nations tennis (women) after beating Lamis el Husseini of Egypt in Tunis.
Sandra expressed to MENA her great happiness for winning the championship, describing Husseini’s performance as good.
Egypt’s Ambassador to Tunisia was keen on attending the game and encouraged the two players.
Besides Tunisia (host countries), the eleven other nations involved in the competition are: Egypt, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Comoros, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Libya, Mauritania and Zimbabwe.
